Fireworks Display!!

Hey room 5


On friday was so cool,I was performing at the fireworks display in massey park.

If you came you might of seen these great performances sang and danced by these amazing schools.
Also you could of seen OUR SCHOOL JUMP JAM  We were very energetic and super cool with alot of cheering and famous feedback ,Everyone had to dance to it right? and so they did ....I LOVED IT SO MUCH and i hope for you guys who didnt come we might perform it for you for Prize Giving.Anyway hope to see you room 5 soon bye...

Term 4, 2012

Hi Room 5, This is our last term for 2012!! Hasn't the year gone fast - we have a 9 week term this term. We have a lot of exciting things to achieve before the end of the year:
* swimming - starts next week - Wednesdays & Fridays
* reports - I am watching in class & writing reports for the end of the year
* writing - Assessment next week
* reading - EASTTLE coming up
* construction - building our bridges, towers & pyramids
* ... and heaps more
This term you need to be thinking about what jobs around the school you might want next year.
Road Patrol starts this year for training, BUT, think very carefully and make sure you are prepared to commit to being at school before 8:30 am when it is your turn and later home in the afternoons!

During the holidays I spent a lot of time just hanging at home doing things around the house and school work. What did you get up to?

Mrs Alexandra is leaving on Friday :(

Hi Room 5, Just a reminder that it is Mrs Alexander's last day on Friday. We will have to be sneaky about making a card for her in case she sees it!! I am hoping she will be out of class on Thursday so that we can do it then! Ssshhhhh......

Tapa Art

Presentation Afternoon

Hi Room 5, Yay! It is presentation afternoon tomorrow.  You have all done a fabulous job researching, dot & jotting, writing for your presentation and laying out your display boards. I think your fellow students and parents will be very impressed!! Remember - You do know what you are talking about so be ready to share your knowledge with people who come into room 5 tomorrow.
